Special Education Teacher

Job Description : Special Educator Location : DPS Dwarka Expressway

DPS Dwarka Expressway is seeking a qualified and experienced Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs and promote an inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as per CBSE guidelines.

Provide remedial and special education support in one-on-one and small-group settings.

Collaborate with teachers to implement inclusive classroom strategies and curriculum modifications.

Support students with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, behavioural and emotional needs.

Maintain documentation, progress records, and compliance with CBSE and RCI norms.

Communicate regularly with parents and coordinate with external specialists when required.

Qualifications (CBSE-Compliant) Bachelor’s Degree + B.Ed / Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized).

Valid RCI Registration (mandatory).

2–5 years of experience working with children with special needs in a school or therapy setting.

Skills Strong understanding of inclusive education

Excellent communication & classroom collaboration

Patience, empathy, and strong documentation skills
