Desirable Qualifications
- Master's Degree In Education or related field with Math and Physics teaching experience will be an added advantage
- IB DP Experience : Previous experience working as an IB DP Coordinator and teacher.
- Knowledge of IB DP Curriculum : Familiarity with IB DP curriculum, assessment, and evaluation procedures.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to teach a subject
Certifications
IB DP Certification : IB Diploma Coordinator or relevant certification.Assessment Certification : Certification in assessment, evaluation, or examination coordination.Key Responsibilities
Program Administration :Oversee IB DP registration, exam registration, and other administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with IB rules and regulations.Manage DP student data and records.
Student Support :Guide students in course selection and DP requirements.
Monitor student progress and provide support.
Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents.
Communication and Liaison :Act as a liaison between the school, IB, and parents.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and information sessions.
Ensure timely dissemination of information to stakeholders.
CAS and EE Support :Oversee the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) program.
Support students with Extended Essay (EE) and Internal Assessment (IA) processes.
Assessment and Evaluation :Coordinate internal assessments and mock exams.
Ensure proper handling and storage of exam materials.
Documentation And Assessment
Establish an effective system for tracking and documenting students'CAS activities and reflections.Ensure accurate and timely submission of CAS documentation for IB evaluation and assessment.Collaborate with assessment coordinators to prepare studentsfor the final CAS component of the IB Diploma Program.Professional Development :Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in CAS and the IBprogram through continuous professional development.Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to CAS coordination.7 Community Engagement
Collaborate with local organizations, NGOs, and community partners to identify meaningful CAS opportunities that align with the school's values and IB principles.Foster relationships with external partners to create a network of resources for students' CAS projects and experiences.Promote the school's commitment to community service and social responsibility through CAS initiatives.Skills Required
