Job Title : Lead ServiceNow Quality Analyst

Location : Chennai (Work from office only)

Job Type : Full-time

Experience Required : 5+ years in Quality Assurance, 3+ years with ServiceNow platform testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead ServiceNow Quality Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of QA methodologies, a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, and experience leading QA efforts in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead QA efforts for ServiceNow projects including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, and custom applications.
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases for ServiceNow functionalities and integrations.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify quality risks early.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple ServiceNow modules.
  • Utilize automated testing tools such as ATF (Automated Test Framework) and other third-party tools as applicable.
  • Maintain and enhance automated test suites for continuous testing in CI / CD pipelines.
  • Track and report defects and testing progress using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow Agile, or Test Management plugins.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA analysts on ServiceNow testing best practices.
  • Ensure testing complies with ITSM / ITIL processes and ServiceNow platform governance.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow testing.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or others.
  • Proficiency in using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and / or Selenium or other test automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Application Developer, or ATF Specialist).
  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrade testing and managing testing cycles during version releases.
  • Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Experience in CI / CD environments using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
