Role Overview
This role is primarily about data sourcing, not heavy analytics.
Identify and collect datasets related to :
Consumer purchase behaviour
Quick commerce / FMCG trends
Category-wise demand patterns
Retailer digitisation and supply gaps
City-level consumption insights
Validate dataset relevance (recency, reliability, demographic fit)
Extract and clean data from reports, PDFs, public portals, ONDC dashboards
Organise information into simple, usable formats (Excel / Sheets)
Build a structured dataset library for ongoing decision-making
Skills
Experience with consumer behaviour data
(purchase triggers, frequency, urgency patterns)
Experience with quick commerce or FMCG analytics
(category depth, repeat rates, SKU movement, price elasticity)
Strong internet research & data-sourcing ability
(finding high-quality datasets from public, private, and paid sources)
Curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort navigating large reports & dashboards
