Act as the primary contact for environmental compliance across both operational and closed sites.Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS), including plans, monitoring programs, and risk management tools.Prepare and coordinate environmental reports, permits, and approvals to meet regulatory and company requirements.Provide technical support to site-based environmental teams through report reviews, planning input, and compliance guidance.Lead or assist in environmental and OH&S incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.Oversee environmental audits, training, and awareness initiatives to strengthen compliance and environmental culture.Ensure accurate environmental approvals records and adherence to legal and other compliance register (LOCR) commitments.Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience in environmental compliance within the mining or heavy industry sector.Strong understanding of environmental legislation, management systems, and approvals processes in Western Australia.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and guide operational teams.A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Contract to end of April 2026$70-80 per hour plus super dependent on experienceSalary sacrificingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Corporate discountsAbout Brunel :
