Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to guide and empower a newly formed, highly technical team.

This team, consisting of a GCP Data Engineers & GCP Platform Engineer, is tasked with building and managing a cutting-edge data platform on Google Cloud.

As the Scrum Master, you will be the team's Agile champion, responsible for fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing environment.

Your primary goal is to ensure the team lives by the values and principles of Agile, effectively removing impediments and enabling them to deliver exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as a servant leader to the development team, which includes GCP Data Engineers & GCP Platform Engineers.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and kept within the timebox.
• Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles, helping them to become self-organizing and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, track, and help remove impediments or obstacles that are preventing the team from achieving its Sprint Goals.
• Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions to maintain focus on their commitments.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to facilitate backlog refinement, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and ready for development.
• Foster a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, with an emphasis on problem-solving.
• Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information to stakeholders.
• Support the team in tracking and understanding key Agile metrics (e.

, velocity, burndown / burnup charts) to improve predictability and performance.
