PYP Coordinator

Description

The PYP Coordinator will lead the implementation and development of the Primary Years Programme in our school. This role involves collaborating with teachers, students, and parents to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum, promoting inquiry-based learning, and providing support and professional development for staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the PYP curriculum in alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) standards.
• Coordinate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the PYP framework.
• Provide professional development and support for teachers in PYP practices and inquiry-based learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the PYP curriculum across grades.
• Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents regarding the PYP program.
• Organize workshops, training sessions, and meetings to promote PYP methodologies.
• Collaborate with school leadership to align PYP initiatives with the school's vision and goals.
