Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Shopify POS Developer to own, design, and develop advanced Shopify POS UI extensions and retail-focused POS experiences. The role involves migrating legacy POS solutions to modern Shopify APIs, integrating third-party systems, supporting global store rollouts, and leading technical delivery. You will collaborate closely with retail stakeholders, troubleshoot production issues, set up CI / CD pipelines, and mentor team members while ensuring high-quality, scalable POS implementations.

Mandatory Skills

• Shopify POS UI Extensions (3–5 years hands-on experience)
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with Shopify Liquid & Shopify Polaris (Admin UI)
• Shopify integrations :
• Payment gateways
• Tax engines
• Loyalty / fraud systems
• ERP / OMS / CRM / Inventory systems
• Strong knowledge of :
• REST & GraphQL APIs
• Shopify Admin APIs
• EventBridge & Webhooks
• Shopify App Bridge
• Proven experience building custom Shopify apps
• Hands-on Git (branching, PR workflow, code reviews)
• Experience with POS / eCommerce solutions for large retailers ($500M+ revenue)
• Excellent debugging, communication & ownership skills

Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills
