Position : Junior Accountant

Location : Indore

Role Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, handle invoicing, ensure compliance, and support management with financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally and a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting in Zoho Books or Tally.
  • Record and manage vendor invoices, client invoices, and expense entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, vendor ledger reconciliation, and payment tracking.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

2. Client Billing & Vendor Payments

  • Prepare client invoices based on timesheets and project milestones.
  • Maintain vendor payout sheets and ensure timely processing.
  • Follow up with clients and vendors for payment updates and confirmations.

    • 3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain proper records for GST, TDS, and income tax.
  • Coordinate with CA firms for audits, filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all financial records.

    • 4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries (revenue, expenses, cash flow).
  • Assist management with MIS reports and financial projections.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies or overdue payments proactively.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting tools.
  • Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Excellent Excel and reporting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and accountability in managing financial operations.
