As Group Accountant at Pointspay, your key responsibility is to support the Finance department in delivery of an accurate picture of Pointspay’s financial performance across various group entities in multiple geographic locations. You will report directly to the Group CFO and handle the day-to-day accounting processes such as booking invoices, conducting reconciliations, ensuring completeness of monthly accounting and supporting Group CFO in the month-end processes.

Your key tasks

• Understand how Pointspay earns revenue.
• Gain an understanding of Pointspay’s entity structure by preparing consolidated reports, etc.
• Handle merchant invoicing and settlement payments (based on their settlement frequency and other specifics).
• Manage client invoicing (each client is invoiced differently and requires specific documentation;

understand how advance payments / deposits work, and what information is shared with clients and where).
