Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in product design or mechanical engineering is required. 10+ years’ experience in product design (preferably consumer electronic products i.e. Handheld / portable device) Proficient in written English (95%@work) and experience collaborate with overseas clients. Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility to collaborate with both EMS and Foxconn’s PD engineer and cross function team. Comfort working in a quickly changing environment within product development phases and builds. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with process management design for electronic assembly and handheld tool design. Proven ability in 3D CAD modeling systems and workflow, UG NX or Solidworks fluency desirable. understanding knowledge of mechanical design principles, including GD&T, materials and manufacturing processes. Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Working with Labs and knowing the equipment to resolve issues.
