We’re now looking for a passionate SEO & SEM Specialist to join our on-site team — someone who can manage end-to-end website optimization, local SEO visibility, and measurable lead-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. WordPress Upkeep & Security
- Manage regular core, theme, and plugin updates.
- Maintain daily automated backups and uptime monitoring.
- Conduct malware scans, database optimization, and cache cleanup.
- Apply minor UI or layout fixes (within existing templates).
- Audit broken links, deprecated plugins, and security alerts monthly.
2. Technical & On-Page SEO
Page-speed optimization (WebP compression, JS / CSS minification).Configure and maintain sitemap / robots.txt.Optimize meta titles & descriptions across all live pages.Implement keyword-based H1–H3 structuring and internal link mapping.Deploy schema markup (restaurant / menu / review) and validate via Google Rich Results Test.Perform ongoing Core Web Vitals & indexing health checks.3. Local SEO & Google Business Profile Management
Manage full GBP profile : weekly posts, Q&A, menu / product sync.Upload 4–6 optimized photos (food & interior) every month.Run review-generation campaigns with QR codes.Track queries & engagement via GMB Insights and optimize citations.Submit and maintain listings on Yelp, TripAdvisor, Zomato etc.4. Content Marketing (Blogs)
Research topics and keywords for seasonal or local food trends.Write / edit 2 SEO-optimized blogs per month (1 000–1 200 words).Add interlinks to menu & order pages; upload on WordPress.Optimize meta, featured image, and FAQ schema for snippets.Proofread, format, and ensure consistency in tone & structure.5. Link Building & Citations
Conduct monthly outreach to local blogs / food portals for backlinks.Manage directory submissions (Restaurantji, OpenTable if applicable).Optimize anchor text and monitor backlink quality.Analyze competitor backlink profiles and refine strategy quarterly.6. Reporting & Account Management
Deliver monthly analytics & KPI reports (GA4 + GSC + GBP).Present keyword ranking & traffic trend visualizations.Join 30-minute client review calls to discuss progress & next actions.Maintain a shared Google Sheet tracker / dashboard for all tasks.Desired Candidate Profile
2 - 3 years’ hands-on experience in SEO & SEM (agency or brand side).Strong knowledge of WordPress, GA4, GSC, GBP, and schema markup.Familiar with paid search fundamentals (Google Ads / Meta Ads basics).Analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting ranking / traffic data.Basic design sense for web visuals and on-page UI alignment.Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented work ethic.💼 What We Offer
