We are looking for SAM & CMDB Administrator (ServiceNow) who will report into Senior Manager IT Services Framework. Also CMDB & Discovery Analyst has responsibility for supporting the standardization, design, implementation, governance, and technology enablement of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) & Discovery capabilities based on ServiceNow leading practices. In Addition the role of Software Asset Admin is to support, handle, and coordinate end-user software across the organization.
What will you be doing?
- You will contribute and handle ServiceNow CMDB, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).
- You will be responsible for implementing technical solutions which will help keeping the CMDB as healthy as possible.
- Defining and documenting policies, standard procedures, training, knowledge articles, and other supporting documentation.
- Performing and / or leading analysis, re-engineering, and work process improvement activities for Configuration Management / CMDB & Discovery, including assessments, research, solution design, documentation, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate Configuration Item review and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of configuration items. Ensure the critical metrics are reported, and their targets are met.
- Identify the Discovery issues and work closely with Infrastructure team for its resolution. Ensure that registered Configuration Items meet criteria as per the data model.
- Process new software requests from all employees globally coordinating a request processing with their team. Evaluate requests against the software catalogue.
- Coordinate the security and compliance assessment of requests for new software / non-standard software working with relevant IT, risks management and compliance teams.
- Issue requests for Quote and coordinates software purchases. Coordinate the software installation on the user PC, Lead and optimize the utilization, software licenses and disposal of end-user software. Maintain relevant customer software catalogue and pricing.
What will you need to be successful?
Education : Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master’s degree in Information Technology or relevant.Certifications : ITIL, CSA, CIS-DISCOVERY, CIS-SAM is added advantage.Experience : Minimum 4 to 5years of experience working with software requests, licensing, and licensing databases.3+ years practical experience in ITIL Process Management, preferably Configuration Management and Software Asset Management.3+ years of experience understanding the architecture and foundational aspects on the ServiceNow platform.Ability to work independently and take decisions where vital within the scope of the role.Responsibility of quality for delivered process, inputs for audits, reaching targets on service and organizational level.Interpersonal skills, Superb communication, collaboration, and relationship building and collaborator engagement skills.Travel Requirements :You Unlimited.
