Role Brief :
The Business Development Head – Europe will be responsible for driving growth of the pharmaceutical formulations business across European markets, with a focus on injectables and oral dosage forms. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing partnerships, and leading strategic initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence in Europe. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful product registrations, commercial collaborations, and long-term business sustainability.
Experience : 8–15 years in international business development within the pharmaceutical industry, with strong exposure to European markets.
Responsibilities :
Strong understanding of the European public market for injectables and oral formulations
Proven expertise in market research, generating insights, and conducting competitor analysis
Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities across European pharmaceutical markets
Manage and expand relationships with existing clients, distributors, partners, and licensing associates
Drive end-to-end business discussions, including commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RA, QA, Supply Chain, R&D) to ensure timely submissions and client deliverables
Monitor and analyze EU market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
