Product Consultant - Fenergo, Bangalore

Job descriptionYou will be required to gather and document the financial institution's business requirements; understand their business model and processes; regulatory and operational challenges; lead workshops to resolve solution design issues; support development efforts throughout the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC); and participate in training, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities. This is a client-facing role, requiring the successful individual to build strong relationships within the financial institution and project teams and act as the first point of contact with their senior stakeholders, IT / business analysts, and subject matter experts. You will play a critical role in establishing standardized, compliant risk frameworks that can be rapidly deployed across markets through configuration rather than code. This position will also focus on creating reusable integration frameworks for third-party risk services, defining comprehensive risk metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining operational efficiency. Translate complex banking and regulatory policies into implementable specifications and configurable rules Bring industry expertise in the CLM and client / customer journey digitization space Support financial institutions in the building of their new Target Operating Model in the client / customer onboarding area Ensure alignment with technical strategy, including decision engines, event-driven patterns, and risk monitoring frameworks. Prepare and lead requirement-gathering workshops with financial institutions Offer innovation within the design discussion, influencing financial institutions in line with the Fenergo product offering and industry best practices Understand, document, and help to close the gap between the financial institution's current or proposed way of proceeding with onboarding and Fenergo's core product offering Deliver product demos in a structured and logical approach Document the financial institution's scope and functional requirements Manage the functional documentation review and approval process with the financial institution Documents requirements for systems development - including use cases in an agile methodology Prepare and deliver training sessions to the financial institution's business users Keep up to date with product & regulatory changes Minimum 5+ years of experience within the financial services industry and 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar analytical role. Broad and deep knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with an emphasis on Client life cycle management and Onboarding / KYC, AML, Risk, Regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Teamwork / collaboration mindset with the ability to work with stakeholders throughout the organization. A robust understanding of full-cycle software development within an Agile framework and experience in Fenergo. Knowledge of Fenergo Core Product Software SQL and database queries Prior experience in the configuration of a software application Experience with multi-tenant configurations, risk dashboards, and stakeholder management.
