What will you do
Role Overview
A Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, from daily accounting to long-term strategic planning, and acts as a key advisor to the senior leadership team. This role requires strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure the financial health and growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) : Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Financial Reporting & Accounting : Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations. Manage the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management : Monitor and control the organization's cash flow, banking activities, and liquidity to ensure optimal utilization of funds and meet business demands.
- Compliance & Internal Controls : Ensure full compliance with all local and national financial regulations and tax laws (e.g., corporate tax, GST, etc.). Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal control procedures and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Audits & Stakeholder Management : Coordinate and lead all internal and external audit activities, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax authorities. Review terms / contracts periodically and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and other business stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA) is highly preferred.High proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., advanced MS Excel, Google sheets, data visualization tools). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) is essential.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Location- Durgapur
