Job : Java Developer with AI Tooling Expertise

Experience : 3 to 8 Years

Location : Bangalore, Work from Office

Mode : Permanent

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented Java Developer with 4-5 years of experience in backend development and a strong interest in leveraging AI tools and APIs to enhance product functionality, automation, and user experience.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java technologies and have hands-on exposure to integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.

Roles And Responsibilities :

Understand the existing architecture of the Cross Identity platform, including components, modules, and data flows.
Support the design and development of scalable, secure backend services for both on-premise and cloud deployments.
Integrate AI tools and APIs to improve automation, analysis, and user experience within the platform.
Work with Product Owners to understand requirements and contribute to feature planning and implementation.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices.
Conduct unit testing, support system testing, and participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to performance tuning and optimization.
Collaborate closely with senior engineers, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery.
Stay updated on the latest AI tools and technologies relevant to software development.

Technical Skill Set :

Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, REST APIs.

Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and multithreading.

Experience with microservices, database integrations (MySQL), and deployment on Linux / Windows environments.

Familiarity with Spring Security, JWT, OAuth / OIDC.

Experience using Git, CI / CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins), Maven, and Docker.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku is a plus.

Understanding of Agile development practices, unit testing, and basic architecture concepts.

AI Tools Exposure :

Experience or familiarity with integrating external AI services such as :

OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, AWS AI tools, Hugging Face APIs.

Ability to implement AI-enhanced features like summarization, auto-tagging, or pattern recognition.

Understanding of prompt engineering and working with third-party AI APIs.

Bonus : exposure to AI-assisted coding platforms or low-code AI tools.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Self-driven, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to take ownership and contribute proactively to team success.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3-4 years of experience in Java-based application development.

Exposure to AI tools and APIs in a development context.

Java Certification is a plus
