Role Summary :
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate closely with software developers, ensuring smooth integration of applications from development to production stages. Manage CI / CD pipelines, configure IaC using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and maintain system performance for high application availability.
Key Tasks & Accountability :
- Collaborate with software developers to understand project requirements and ensure seamless integration of applications from development through to production.
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Configure and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying and scaling applications.
- Evaluate and implement cloud solutions, optimizing resource utilization and costs.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve automation and streamline deployment processes.
- Implement and manage configuration management tools for maintaining consistency across environments.
Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.Proven experience of 2-5 years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.Solid understanding of CI / CD concepts and experience with related tools (Jenkins, GitLab Actions, CircleCI).Strong understanding and experience in GitOps.Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, YAML or Ruby).Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM, Terraform, Cognito, VPC, CloudWatch and CloudFormation.Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix systems and administration.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and agile environment.Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, or Kubernetes Certified Administrator or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-AssociateExperience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.Personal Attributes :
