Robotics Mechanical Design Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Robotics Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our core engineering team in developing next-generation robotic systems.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design and development of advanced automation subsystems — from concept and analysis to prototyping and production.

What You’ll Do

• Design precision motion subsystems, including links, joints, grippers, and structural assemblies.
• Develop detailed 3D and 2D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD.
• Perform kinematic, static, and dynamic analyses including load, torque, and deflection calculations.
• Select motors, gearboxes, bearings, and materials based on system and performance requirements.
• Build and validate prototypes using CNC machining, 3D printing, or sheet-metal fabrication.
• Conduct stiffness, backlash, endurance, and field testing.
• Collaborate with electronics and control teams for actuator, sensor, and PCB integration.
• Optimize designs for manufacturing, cost, and performance (DFM / DFA).
• Maintain accurate BOMs, drawings, and design documentation for production.

What We’re Looking For

Education : B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.

Experience : Minimum 2 years in robotic system or automation design.
