Job descriptionAssist in the preparation of civil engineering projects by developing basic engineering features and solutions. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and report findings to guide project planning and execution. Create and update engineering designs and layouts using Auto CAD and related software. Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers to align on project goals and expectations. Prepare project progress reports and provide updates to senior management on a regular basis. Support the implementation of industry standards and regulatory requirements in all project phases. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration. Stay abreast of new engineering techniques and software developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Coimbatore. This full-time position requires a proactive individual to contribute to various civil engineering projects. The role involves working with a dynamic team, utilizing cutting-edge software for designing and planning, and ensuring project execution aligns with industry standards. Candidates should possess a blend of technical and analytical skills crucial for our projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D (Mandatory skill) for effective project design and drafting.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Project to assist in project planning and management.
- Experience with STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design of infrastructure projects.
- Competency in Bluebeam for document management and digital workflow efficiency.
- Familiarity with surveying techniques to support accurate site assessments and measurements.
- Ability to work with Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling and control.
- Strong analytical skills to approach complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.
