Job Summary :
Assist in preparing, baking, and presenting pastries, desserts, and baked goods while ensuring high quality, taste, and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness, follow recipes, and support the Pastry Chef in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts as per recipes.
Ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen.
Assist in menu planning and new dessert creation.
Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef de Partie for replenishment.
Adhere to food safety and HACCP standards.
Skills & Requirements :
Diploma or certification in Bakery / Patisserie or Culinary Arts.
1–2 years of experience in a pastry or bakery section.
Knowledge of pastry techniques and decoration.
Creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts / Bakery & Patisserie .
Professional certification in Pastry or Bakery .
Basic Food Safety or HACCP Experience .
1–2 years of experience in a pastry / bakery section in a hotel or restaurant.
