Role Overview

We’re looking for a

Full-Time Video Creator / Editor

who lives and breathes social video.

This isn’t just about transitions or effects — it’s about knowing :

What hooks viewers in the first 3 seconds

How to structure videos for engagement, retention, and shares

What makes a Reel or YouTube Short go viral

How to deliver content consistently with

speed + quality

You’ll create engaging video content for

Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn , and sometimes

websites or ad campaigns

— focusing on short-form, high-impact storytelling.

Not a freelance or side-gig role — we’re looking for someone to grow with us long-term

What You’ll Do

Video Creation & Editing

Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and longer-form content (YouTube, promos, ads)

Repurpose footage across formats (vertical, square, horizontal)

Add hooks, captions, memes, transitions, and music to maximize engagement

Cut down raw footage quickly and manage weekly content calendars

Content Ideation

Stay on top of viral trends, sounds, and formats

Contribute ideas, scripts, and creative directions

Collaborate with marketing to brainstorm video series, hooks, and visual styles

What You Must Have

1–3 years of hands-on experience editing

social-first videos

(Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)

Strong storytelling, pacing, and hook sense

Familiarity with captioned formats, meme culture, and trendy edits

A solid portfolio (3–5 recent Reels, Shorts, or projects)

Experience with tools such as :

Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro

CapCut / VN / DaVinci Resolve

Instagram & YouTube platform best practices

Understanding of

social media algorithms and content formats

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Adobe After Effects (motion graphics)

Blender / Element 3D (basic 3D animation)

Canva / Figma (static visuals)

Basic sound design or audio syncing

(Optional) Motion Graphics

Add subtle animations, titles, or explainer visuals

Animate logos or product features for web / social when needed

Experience working with brands, influencers, or DTC content
