Job Description
- Lead regional sales strategy, drive volume growth, and expand market share through dealer engagement and targeted development of under-performing territories.
- Manage credit controls, pricing decisions, and promotional campaigns to optimise profitability and brand visibility across the sector.
- Oversee logistics, depot operations, and customer service to ensure seamless supply chain execution and high client satisfaction.
- Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and price bench-marking to support strategic decision-making and territory planning.
- Mentor and review performance of area teams, foster succession planning, and conduct training for continuous capability building.
- Ensure compliance with company systems, statutory norms, and maintain operational discipline across sales and administrative functions.
The Successful Applicant
- Educational Background : BE / in Civil or Chemical Engineering; MBA in Marketing preferred.
- Industry Experience : 10+ years in channel sales, with strong exposure to construction chemicals and related product portfolios.
- Sales Expertise : Proven success in dealer management, project management, and driving market growth through strategic planning.
- Customer Orientation : Strong communication and negotiation skills with a solid customer service mindset.
- Leadership & Teamwork : Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams, mentor junior staff, and manage cross-functional operations.
- Execution Focus : Skilled in implementing sales strategies, resolving client issues, and building long-term business relationships.
