Our students are mostly internationally educated engineers navigating the Canadian licensing process. We’re profitable, growing, and looking for a long-term partner to own our WordPress / MemberPress stack.The RoleWe’re hiring a full-time WordPress + MemberPress developer to be the technical owner of our membership site. You’ll work closely with our small Canadian team and existing contractor to ship improvements, fix bugs, and keep everything fast and stable.What You’ll Do Build and improve features on our WordPress + MemberPress site (plans, rules, restrictions, dashboards, etc.) Implement and optimize checkout flows, order bumps, and upsells Fix bugs and handle technical issues in a structured, safe way (staging → test → deploy) Maintain site performance, security, and uptime Collaborate via Slack and Loom, and join short live calls during overlap hours Document your changes (Git or zip backups, changelogs) so we always know what shippedRequirements 3+ years professional experience with WordPress and PHP Proven experience with MemberPress on at least 2–3 live production sites Comfortable with hooks, filters, custom plugins / snippets (no editing WordPress or plugin core) Experience working with staging sites, backups, and safe deployment workflows Strong written English; able to communicate clearly in an async, remote environment Able to overlap at least 2–3 hours per weekday with 9 am to noon Eastern (Ottawa) Reliable internet and a quiet environment for occasional video callsNice to Have Experience with membership / LMS / subscription businesses Familiarity with basic front end (HTML / CSS / JS) for UI tweaks Experience working with international / North American teamsWhat We Offer Full time, long term role (35–40 hours / week) Stable workload with a single core product to focus on Flexible hours outside the required overlap window Direct impact : your work will help thousands of engineers progress their careersHow to Apply (Required)We only review candidates who complete this application form : do not send “Easy Apply” without the form .
