Birlasoft is seeking an experienced VCP Functional Consultant to join our VCE / VCP practice. The ideal candidate will work on Supply Planning engagements for our global clients across various industry sectors. The role demands a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Supply Planning modules, strong functional expertise, and the ability to lead end-to-end implementations.

Preferred Skills & Additional Knowledge
Oracle VCP modules with hands-on experience in ASCP, GOP, Demantra
Oracle Order Management (OM) & Inventory Management knowledge (added advantage)
Experience in at least 3 end-to-end Oracle Planning Module implementations
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management processes and Oracle configurations
Knowledge of profile options, flex-fields, and functional interfaces for R12 EBS
Software development lifecycle, change management, and deployment procedures
Client requirement gathering, analysis, and functional specification documentation
Troubleshooting and effective communication with end-users
Collaboration with Oracle Technical Support (SR resolution)
PL / SQL development skills and familiarity with VCP tables and scheduling tools
ERP integrations with VCP
Client-facing experience and ability to coordinate across multiple teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in British English accent
Flexibility in working hours
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and deliver Oracle Cloud Supply Planning solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements
Conduct detailed analysis of client supply chain processes and translate into functional solutions
Configure and validate Oracle VCP modules, including Supply Planning, Order Promising, and Demand Planning
Design holistic planning solutions tailored to customer needs
Create detailed functional specifications and test scripts
Support UAT and facilitate user acceptance testing
Collaborate with technical teams for smooth integration and data flow
Troubleshoot functional issues, coordinate issue resolution with Oracle Support
Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients
Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout project lifecycle
Work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple stakeholder expectations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, IT, Computer Science, or related field
4-12 years of relevant experience in Oracle Supply Chain Planning modules
Proven track record of successful Oracle Planning Module implementations
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (British accent preferred)
Ability to work flexibly in different time zones
