Manage all important documents such as proforma invoice, packing slips, advanced shipping notice (ASN), pick slips, couriers, bills of lading, bank reconciliation documents etc.
Follow on the flow of goods from final stage preparation to shipment
Collaborate with packing department, warehouse, purchasing managers to optimize & ensure smooth processes
Handle the communication & coordination with CHA, forwarding agents, transporters and clear their account from time to time
Communicate with buyers and buying offices logistics departments on documents and payment pertaining to shipments
Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
Ensure compliance to legal regulations, banking regulations & company policies
Report to management on activities and issues
Control budget of the shipping department
Requirements and skill
Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
Min. Graduate with diploma in Foreign Trade, Logistics, or relevant course
Experience in using EDI and preparing shipping documents (e.g. ASN)
Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Good understanding of budgeting and reporting
Knowledge of relevant shipping regulations and documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Customs declarations).
Experience in using shipping software and warehouse management systems.
Strong understanding of transportation modes, including trucking, air freight, ocean freight, and courier services.
Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being advantageous.
