As a .NET Architect, you will lead architectural design, strategic planning, and robust development of modernization initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will encompass guiding the architectural vision and framework, designing and implementing highly scalable, resilient microservices architectures using .NET Core and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have profound expertise in .NET ecosystems, extensive experience in microservices design principles, and a commitment to crafting high-quality, efficient software solutions. The role requires being hands-on and able to troubleshoot and assist the development team when they encounter technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect for high-quality, scalable, and resilient software systems using .NET Core and AWS, based on microservices architecture.
• Will be required to analyze the modernization of the current application and design solutions using microservices architecture.
• Serve as the primary design authority, ensuring architectural solutions meet technical and business requirements, and advocate for adherence to design standards and best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to development teams, ensuring implementations align with the architectural vision.
• Should be hands-on and capable of resolving technical issues to support the team.
• Develop and present Proof of Concepts (POCs) to lead solution efforts.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into functional architectural designs.
• Oversee the development and integration of APIs and microservices, ensuring efficient data flow and service interoperability.
• Design and implement API management using AWS API Gateway for policy enforcement, authorization, and security.
• Mentor and train developers on advanced coding standards, new technologies, and architectural principles.
• Ensure architectural integrity and compliance through reviews and effective governance processes.
• Promote continuous improvement practices for software development and architecture.
• Establish DevSecOps pipelines for CI / CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
