Senior Staff Platform Engineer - Backend / Cloud Infrastructure

Required Skills :

• 7+ years of experience in backend / platform / cloud infrastructure roles
• Expertise in hashtag cloud-hashtag native hashtag architectures (AWS / GCP / Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
• Strong experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink, Pulsar), data lakes, and OLAP systems
• Deep understanding of CI / CD, GitOps, deployment pipelines, versioning, and rollout strategies
• Strong coding proficiency in Java or Python
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience building modular internal tooling, SDKs, or reusable infrastructure templates
• Experience driving platform-wide performance, observability, and cost efficiency efforts
• Excellent communication skills, and a strong track record of cross-team technical leadership Nice to Have
• Experience working with GenAI tools or LLM-based developer workflows (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)
• Exposure to edge-cloud integrations, OTA updates, or telemetry pipelines
• Experience in designing systems to support transitioning from single product architecture to a multi-product ecosystem will be a big plus.
• Critical thinking, ability to navigate large, distributed codebases, understand architectural trade-off and system design thinking are important.
