We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting mission-critical environments across both Windows and Linux platforms .

About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will play a key role in managing and scaling our production systems, release pipelines, and container environments in complex private cloud setups. This is a hands-on position working closely with Development and QA teams, supporting enterprise applications across a diverse technology stack while driving automation and reliability at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and deploy highly available, highly scalable production applications across Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Collaborate daily with Development and QA teams to maintain and expand environments.
  • Build, configure, and troubleshoot environments, including deployment and application-related issues.
  • Provide architectural guidance, documentation, and technical support for existing and new systems.
  • Manage multiple enterprise systems, including :
  • IIS , WebLogic , Solr , Redis , Elasticsearch , MongoDB , RabbitMQ .
  • CI / CD pipelines with Bamboo and Bitbucket .
  • Configuration management with Puppet and Terraform .
  • Container environments using Docker and Rancher .
  • Implement and support observability and performance monitoring with AppDynamics , Grafana , Prometheus , and SolarWinds .
  • Troubleshoot complex system and application issues with advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Automate workflows and deployments using scripting languages like PowerShell , Python , Bash , Ruby , and WLST .
  • Provide production support during business hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to DevOps best practices.

Skills & Experience

Required :

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting complex, high-availability systems.
  • Proven success in diagnosing and resolving complex application support issues in production environments.
  • Experience working in Agile or Lean development teams.
  • Expertise in :
  • Windows IIS , WebLogic administration.
  • Linux environments (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Technologies such as Solr , Redis , Elasticsearch , MongoDB , RabbitMQ .
  • Container platforms, particularly Docker and Rancher .
  • CI / CD tooling ( Bitbucket , Bamboo ) and automation with Puppet and Ansible .
  • Monitoring and log analysis tools like AppDynamics , Logstash , SolarWinds , Grafana , Prometheus , and Loki .
  • Scripting and automation ( PowerShell , Python , Bash , Ruby , WLST ).
  • Familiarity with databases ( SQL Server , Oracle DB ).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and delivers on commitments.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Development experience or strong understanding of software development workflows.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and large-scale container orchestration.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Experience managing artifact repositories like Nexus or Artifactory .
