TCS Hiring for skill " Digital : AWS Data Engineer ".

Role : AWS Data Engineer – Databricks

Required Technical Skill Set : Data Lake architecture, AWS Services – S3, EMR, Redshift, Apache Airflow

Experience : 8+ years

Work Location : Kolkata, Bangalore, Noida

Must-Have :

Build the solution for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Azure data ingestion and transformation components. Following technology skills are required –
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Experience with Airflow, EMR
Experience with big data tools
Experience with Redshift
Skilled in AWS Data Solutioning
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Ability to work with different stakeholders : communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to understand their goals and needs
Experience working in Agile Methodology and familiar with Jira platform

Good-to-Have :

Working knowledge of Azure DevOps

Often need to present the results of their projects

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

Customer Centric

Work closely with client teams to understand project requirements and translate into technical design

Experience working in scrum or with scrum teams

Internal Collaboration

Work with project teams and guide the end-to-end project lifecycle, resolve technical queries

Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, Design and Build teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data needs.

Soft Skills

Good communication skills

Ability to interact with various internal groups and CoEs

Disciplined and self-motivated – should be able to independently work

Should be coming to office 5 days a week / as per TCS policy

Work across time zones as needed – working with US stakeholders, counterparts is a must and overlapping is needed
