Job Title : SAP APO Consultant (DP & SNP)

Experience : 5 to 12 Years

Location : Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Delhi

Employment Type : Full-Time / Permanent

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP APO Consultant with a strong background in Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in APO modules and be capable of leading planning process implementations, optimizations, and support engagements across global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and participate in SAP APO implementations and support projects focusing on DP & SNP modules.
Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define planning processes, and configure APO solutions accordingly.
Design and implement statistical forecasting models in DP including lifecycle planning, forecast models, and macros.
Configure SNP for heuristic and optimizer-based planning, deployment, and transportation load building.
Integrate APO with ECC and / or S / 4HANA systems using CIF (Core Interface).
Handle master data and transactional data setup including location, product, transportation lanes, and planning books.
Analyze and resolve issues in APO planning runs and provide solutions to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Provide support and training to business users and create documentation as needed.
Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments (enhancements, BAdIs, user exits).
Involved in system upgrades, testing, and performance tuning of APO solutions.

Required Skills :

Strong experience (5–12 years) in SAP APO DP & SNP modules.

Deep understanding of statistical forecasting, planning book configuration, macros, and SNP heuristics / optimizer.

Proficient in CIF integration and understanding of ECC or S / 4HANA supply chain processes.

Experience with interactive planning and planning area setup.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.

Preferred Skills :

Experience in other APO modules like GATP or PP / DS is a plus.

Knowledge of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is an advantage.

Exposure to Agile project methodologies and tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.

SAP certification in APO modules preferred.
