We are seeking a technically proficient and quality-driven Senior Quality Engineer to lead automation and quality assurance efforts across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, a solid understanding of testing methodologies, and familiarity with modern CI / CD pipelines. Experience with Python is a valuable plus.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate system reliability and user experience
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testable acceptance criteria and ensure early quality integration (Shift-Left Testing)
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or custom scripts
Integrate test automation into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Participate in Scrum ceremonies, provide accurate sizing for QE tasks, and align testing with sprint goalsInvestigate and reproduce defects, working closely with support and development teamsContribute to continuous improvement by exploring AI-driven testing, cloud-based environments, and emerging toolsComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and / or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and / or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and / or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Graduate degree or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software TestingExperience testing web, mobile (iOS / Android), and RESTful APIsSolid proficiency in Katalon Studio and other automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (Groovy, Java; Python is a plus)Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCIProven excellent problem-solving and communication skillsAgile mindset and experience working in Scrum teamsPreferred Qualifications :
