Position : Engineering Manager – BackEnd, Digital Business, Digital Business
Purpose : This role need working with team for managing and scaling our backend services. The incumbent to join the Subscriptions & Payments and In App Interactivity (for. Eg. Play along). The immediate challenges ahead include laying the groundwork for Subscriptions and Plan Management, as well as optimizing and expanding our dynamic integration with different payment gateway. This role is responsible for managing vendors and other stakeholder for operating the Content Management System and enhancing and re-imagining the interactivity system on SonyLiv OTT platform.
Education : . / , MCA or Equivalent Computer Degree
Experience : Overall 10+ experience in Backend Software development
Have 5+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments.
Have 5+ years’ experience leading projects, including helping scope and breakdown work.

Key Responsibilities :
- Planning, Executing, Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services
- Design and build high-volume APIs to support internal and external developers
- Work closely with vendor to operating existing CMS system for SonyLiv OTT platform
- Improve integrations with partners like Stripe, and other UPI payment gateway where we process millions of transactions every year
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish our business goals
- Cross-collaborate with Vendors, SPNI software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts in an autonomous, supportive team environment
- Build and maintain unit and integration tests
- Mentor other engineers on best practices, code design considerations, and quality
- Chart out the plan for building the User Subscription and Payment system in-house.
- Manage and re-architect our In-App interactivity system where millions of user interact in real time with SonyLiv OTT platform.
- Mentoring the team and guid them for right solution and create the next layer of leadership.
