The Role : Oracle DBA

We are looking for a highly capable selfmotivated and independent Database Administrator.

Skill : Database Administrator for Oracle and MySQL database.

Experience : 4 6years

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Description :

Database Administrator Responsibilities :

Oracle Database :

  • Oracle Database Architecture : Installation configuration and upgrading of Oracle server in a standalone or RAC environment (Linux and Windows both).
  • Implementing high availability solutions using Oracle Real Application Cluster.
  • Implementing DR solutions using Oracle Standby Database using Oracle Data Guard.
  • Start and Stop of Oracle Database Services.
  • Migrating schemas using traditional exp / imp and Oracle Datapump utilities.
  • Crossplatform migration.
  • Usage of Oracle RMAN.
  • Usage of Alert logs.
  • Familiar with Oracle CPU and PSU patching procedures.
  • Generating and Analyzing Oracle AWR and ADDM Reports.
  • Monitor the data backup process and perform data recovery if needed.
  • Study databaserelated issues that could affect the database production infrastructure and document the problems.
  • Develop scripts to automate functions and processes and monitor database performance.

AWS Aurora MySQL Database :

  • Understanding and handson experience of AWS RDS Aurora architecture.
  • Installation configuration and upgrading of MySQL database standalone and AWS RDS cluster.
  • Implementing MySQL database HA using MatserSlave configuration.
  • Implementing RDS Aurora cluster in single and crossregion read replica mode.
  • Backup and restore the MySQL database.
  • Start and Stop MySQL Database Services.

    • Database Administrator Requirements :

  • Should be capable and experienced in managing a large amount of data(In TBs).
  • Strong in core Linux commands.
  • Strong communication coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Core Oracle Database knowledge (12c and 19c) including RAC / ASM.
  • Strong Core AWS RDS Database knowledge.
  • Strong SQL PL / SQL and shell / Perl scripting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud (OCI AWS or AZURE)
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Manager
  • Indepth knowledge of Oracle and MySQL database technologies and architecture.
  • Knowledge of best practices in database management.
  • Knowledge of the PostgreSQL database is beneficial.
