Operation roles.

The Cabin and Custo Design Automation Product consists of solutions and services to ensure automated and

seamless E2E use of customer definition for all downstream processes from offer until end of A / C operations.

Cabin and Custo domain operating in a transnational manner and headquartered in Hamburg,Germany.

Analyst for the operation of Cabin and Cargo IT solution. Delivers and deploys IT products and services with

end-to-end accountability in conjunction with the Product Manager. Responsible for the optimization,

reliability, efficiency and availability of the IT assets, solutions and capabilities in an industrialized manner in

accordance with best practices, rules and policies. Acts as a kind of consultant for the operation and change of

existing solutions as well as entry into service of new solutions.

Qualification & Experience :

  • Engineering graduate with 4-5 years of experience in PLM / engineering software applications support

Cabin Custo / PLM) for Aircraft / Automotive design engineering end users.

  • Knowledge of data exchange preferred tools like sharepoint, I-Share, AO Docs..
  • 2 years of experience in product management systems like ARAS, Arena PLM.
  • Must have Knowledge in PLM applications (Product Data management (such as windchill, 3DExp, ...)
  • configuration management, Digital Mock Up principle, ...)

  • Experience on application support and maintenance, bug fixes, L2 & L3 support for software products.
  • Knowledge of Tools like Jira, version one, Service Now are needed.

  • Knowledge of major ITIL processes (e.g. incident, problem, change management) and preferred with
  • the Airbus application landscape.

  • Strong Analytical skills, Complex problem solving, ability to diagnose, reproduce & address application
  • issues.

  • Good understanding of server architecture (preferred cloud) and Engineering applications.
  • Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle, SAFe Agile, Scaled Agile in software
  • development. Strong sense of curiosity about people and new technologies.

  • Practical experience with any relational database (sql, mssql etc).
  • Preferred skills like Change Support, Documentation Production, Eco-design of Digital Services, Export
  • Control Basics (USA and EU), Service Delivery, Service Level Management, Solution Performance

    Management, User Support, User management.

  • Ability to do CQC (Code quality checks). Practical experience with any relational database (preferred
  • sql, mssql etc) is an added advantage.

  • 2 years of experience in web application, API development in any language is desirable (preferred
  • NET, Java, Appscript or Python).
  • Ability to learn and master Airbus specific applications.
  • Responsibilities :

    As a Functional Analyst (Cabin Custo), you will be a key partner to deliver and operate end-to-end solutions

    against business requirements.

    1. His / her primary functions are incident / problem management, Major issues resolution, functional

    support & continuous Service Improvements. End-to-end responsibility to assure operational

    availability for end users.

    2. Ensuring day-to-day support for incidents and requests raised by the user community and an ongoing

    event and alert management related to Application usage, availability and performance inside a

    defined support environment.

    3. Perform incident categorisation / classification & find out critical issues / most popular incidents / do

    root cause analysis and address it to the right stakeholder.

    4. Define key use cases and write / update test scripts for test campaigns on the Cabin Custo applications.

    5. Performing End to End functional testing on multiple Cabin Custo & PLM applications and

    identifying / analyzing the errors, propose improvement process / work-around methods for an

    optimized solution on the application

    6. Monitors and tracks system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs).

    7. Communicating improvement, updates and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product

    Manager.

    8. Identify and document and communicate known defects, available workarounds, and upcoming

    releases expected to resolve issues based on trend analysis

    9. Performing / improving the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change,

    configuration, and event management.

    10. Identify, assess risks and opportunities in his / her area of duty. He / she identifies and prioritizes events

    that might negatively / positively affect the programme / process / function objectives and he / she

    categorizes them. He / she takes corrective and preventive actions accordingly.

    11. Ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed customer requirements and that they

    continue to meet or exceed expectations.

    12. Supervises system backup processing and leads disaster recovery tests Identifies and implements

    technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems

    environment.

    13. Depending on the needs of the company and the use of automated scheduling and remote monitoring

    should be taken care with the help of the team.

    14. Depending on the need he / She should be able to debug the package and perform CQC (Code Quality

    Checks), highlight the risk to the application owner and should be able to understand the Architecture

    Dossier Documentation (ARD).

    15. Individual & proactive Way of Working. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders,

    adaptation and learning of the business processes speak of the customer especially around functional

    design applications.
