Role : Salesforce Architect-Contract

Mode : Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds customized for pharma logistics workflows.
  • Lead Salesforce platform strategy for global pharma and cold-chain logistics, including shipment lifecycle processes and regulatory workflows.
  • Design and implement complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party / legacy systems.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and translate them into platform capabilities to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and data integrity.
  • Establish and govern platform standards covering data architecture, automation, and multi-region deployments.
  • Mentor technical teams and guide development best practices, CI / CD processes, and release management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Customer Service, IT, Implementation) and client leadership to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 14+ years of Salesforce experience , including at least 7 years in platform architecture and multi-cloud implementations .
  • Proven ability to design scalable and high-performance Salesforce architecture, including data models, security, integrations, and user experience.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with third-party and legacy systems.
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical or cold-chain logistics processes, shipment lifecycle management, and regulatory workflows (preferred).
  • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, ETL, and Salesforce APIs; experience with MuleSoft or similar integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Flosum, Gearset, Copado, etc.).
  • Salesforce certifications such as System Architect , Application Architect , or Integration Architecture Designer are preferred.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities with the capability to influence and drive platform vision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to articulate technical solutions to both business and technical audiences.
