Key Responsibilities :
- Tender Identification :
- Identify and evaluate government and PSU construction tenders through platforms such as CPPP, GeM, NIC, state-level portals, etc.
- Bid Preparation & Submission :
- Prepare and compile technical and financial bid documents, including BOQs, rate analysis, compliance declarations, and EMD / BG documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation :
- Ensure adherence to all pre-qualification requirements and submission guidelines. Maintain updated company credentials for bid eligibility.
- Cross-functional Coordination :
- Collaborate with Estimation, Project, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to consolidate input for complete bid documentation.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Engagement :
- Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timely collection of certifications and credentials needed for tender compliance.
- Clarifications & Negotiations :
- Handle pre-bid meetings, respond to RFI / queries, and support the negotiation and award stages as required.
- Market & Policy Awareness :
- Track infrastructure policy updates, competitor activity, and industry tender trends to keep the bidding strategy competitive.
- Tender Records & MIS Reporting :
- Maintain an organized database of tenders, submissions, LOAs, and bid performance metrics for future reference and audit purposes.
Skills and Knowledge Required :
Expertise in public procurement and government e-tendering systems (GeM, CPP Portal, NIC, MSTC, etc.).Familiarity with construction-related bid documentation, compliance formats, and cost estimation.Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word) and experience using online bidding portals.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical ability to interpret tender documents and coordinate multiple timelines efficiently.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.MBA / PG Diploma in Contracts, Tender Management, or Project Management is an added advantage.3–7 years of relevant experience in tender / bid management in a construction company , particularly in government infrastructure projects .
