Senior Virtualization Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise virtualization infrastructure , primarily using VMware vSphere , ESXi , and vCenter .
• Administer and optimize virtualized environments to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new environment builds.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for virtual environments.
• Monitor system performance, resolve hardware / software issues, and ensure proactive system health management.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, vSphere CLI, or other scripting tools.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Work with storage, network, and security teams to integrate and secure virtual platforms.
• Provide escalation support for complex virtualization and infrastructure issues.
• Stay up to date with virtualization trends and recommend continuous improvements.
