SAP EWM Functional Consultant - Contract Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant for a contract assignment to support the implementation and optimization of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. This role involves configuring, customizing, and integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules to enhance warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in at least 2+ EWM implementations and contribute to project phases from blueprinting to go-live. This is a remote, Pan-India contract opportunity with potential for 6-12 months, extendable based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design EWM solutions for warehouse processes, including inbound / outbound operations, putaway, picking, and inventory management.
• Configure and customize SAP EWM functionalities, such as wave management, slotting, yard management, and labor management.
• Lead at least 2+ full-cycle EWM implementations, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
• Integrate EWM with core SAP modules like MM, SD, and TM, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
• Conduct workshops, prepare functional specifications, and support end-user training to drive adoption.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform gap analysis, and recommend best practices for EWM optimizations in a S / 4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions within timelines.
