Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled ABAP on HANA Developer with hands-on experience in RAP-based developments, extensibility, and clean core implementations. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end development experience using ADT, CDS views, and AMDP, and should be well-versed in both in-app and side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP and API Management.

• Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy WRICEF objects using ABAP on HANA.
• Develop applications using Developer Extensibility (RAP framework).
• Work extensively with ADT (ABAP Development Tools), CDS views, and AMDP procedures.
• Implement in-app extensions and side-by-side extensions leveraging BTP services.
• Develop OData services using SEGW and Annotation-based approaches (OData V2 and V4).
• Apply Clean Core principles for extensible and upgrade-safe solutions.
• Perform enhancements using Cloud BADIs, Kernel BADIs, and classical techniques (function exits, VOFM routines, substitutions).
• Integrate systems using SOAP, API-based services, IDocs, and Proxies.
• Manage authorizations and security for integrated interfaces.
• Contribute to Flexible Workflow implementations and support Output Management (S / 4HANA output, BRF+, NAST).
• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms (good to have).
• Perform update and system debugging; work with various Function Modules (Normal, RFC, Update).
• Collaborate with functional consultants, IBM teams, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery and high-quality output aligned with project commitments.
• Required Skills Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA development.
• Strong command of WRICEF objects.
• Expertise in CDS views, AMDP, ADT, and RAP framework.
• Proficient in BTP services, API management, and clean core development practices.
• Solid understanding of enhancements, OData services, interfaces, and authorizations.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
