Location : Remote

Work Schedule : Night Shift (8 am to 5 : 30 PM EST)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

MUST have 3+ years of hands-on experience analyzing, supporting, or winning U.S. Federal Government opportunities (Civilian, or Defense).

  • Required proof : Specific examples of RFPs / RFQs from SAM.gov for agencies such as FAA, DHS, CBP, TSA, USCIS, Army, Navy. DLA .
  • Commercial, state / local, or international experience does NOT qualify.
  • Applications without verifiable U.S. Federal bid experience will be rejected automatically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute U.S Federal business development strategies targeting Civilian (FAA, DHS, CBP, TSA, USCIS), and Defense (Airforce, Navy, DLA) agencies.
  • Build and manage a robust, qualified pipeline aligned with CAN Softtech’s core capabilities and growth objectives.
  • Lead capture planning for priority opportunities, including customer needs analysis, win strategy, teaming, and competitive positioning.
  • Engage client executives to shape requirements, uncover pain points, and influence acquisition strategies.
  • Drive win themes, differentiators, and solution architecture in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
  • Support proposal development, including strategy, storyboarding, and content leadership for winning submissions.
  • Cultivate and leverage deep relationships with government decision-makers, industry partners, and technology providers.
  • Monitor competitor landscapes, emerging technologies, and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years in U.S Federal government business development, capture, or sales leadership within a professional services or technology firm.
  • Proven success managing the full business development lifecycle – pipeline, capture, proposal, and win.
  • Demonstrated ability to win and grow small-to-mid-size U.S Federal opportunities ($5M–$50M+) in Agile DevSecOps, AI / ML, RPA, Cloud, Cyber, Analytics, and Digital Services
  • Experience leading multiple concurrent captures through Gate reviews, Black Hat, and solutioning.
  • Verifiable customer relationships within FAA, DHS, CBP, TSA, USCIS, Army, Airforce, DLA, and / or other DoD components.
  • Expertise in reading RFIs / RFPs, compliance matrices, bid / no-bid decisions, and protest analysis.
  • Hands-on leadership in winning proposals – including pricing strategy, BOE development, and oral presentations.
  • Strong teaming and partnership experience with primes, small businesses, and OEMs.
  • Deep familiarity articulating value in emerging tech
