Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Teradata, ETL development, and Unix scripting.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, scripting logic, and supporting business-critical ETL processes in enterprise data environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and optimize complex SQL queries in Teradata for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Build and automate ETL workflows using Datastage and shell scripting.
• Develop and support custom solutions using Python and Perl scripting for automation and transformation logic.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and fine-tune existing data pipelines and jobs running on Unix / Linux environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for data processing issues.
• Contribute to migration efforts and assist with onboarding new tools like Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
