What you’ll do
- Provide primary and backup support for mainframe security
- Research security feature and new functionality
- Keep mainframe security at top level to avoid any security breach
- Schedule deployment and validation with our clients through standard change control procedures
- Participate to different security meetings with customers
- Provide support to other mainframe teams for any requirements
- Monitor client systems and identify opportunities for improvements
- Responsible of security cleanup on different LPARs
- Development of best practices for mainframe security
- Provide Disaster Recovery support for regular exercises and actual events
- Represent the mainframe security team by managing the recovery of z / OS under the direction of the technical coordinator
- Assist with potential new customer RFP response
- Involve in due diligence for onboarding new customers
