The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Compliance Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual with an Intermediate level Chartered Accountancy qualification who is ready to take on diverse responsibilities across accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance for investment funds. The candidate will work closely with senior professionals to deliver accurate and timely GCRT services to our prestigious clientele.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, focusing on the core services Vishwaksena provides :
1. Core Accounting & Reporting :
Maintain accurate books of accounts for various client entities, including investment funds and their management companies.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in the finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant Indian Accounting Standards.
2. Taxation & Compliance Support :
Assist in the preparation and filing of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns and ensure timely tax payments.
Support the preparation of necessary data for GST (Goods and Services Tax) returns and compliance.
Aid in the computation of Income Tax for the funds and related entities.
Assist in ROC (Registrar of Companies) filings and secretarial compliance support.
3. Audit & Statutory Support :
Prepare detailed working papers and schedules to support statutory and internal audits.
Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth and efficient audit completion.
Assist in addressing queries related to SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) regulations and documentation.
4. Fund Operations Support :
Provide support for investment-related accounting entries and tracking.
Assist in documentation and reconciliation for Investor Relations.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualification
Intermediate CA (IPCC / Intermediate) or Equivalent
Education
Completion of the Intermediate level of the ICAI Chartered Accountancy course.
Experience
Candidates must have either completed their Articleship Training or be in the advanced stage of their training.
Technical Skills
Tally ERP or other recognized accounting software proficiency is mandatory. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling basics) is essential.
Knowledge Base
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards / Ind AS , Income Tax Act, and GST laws.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal), high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning complex fund regulations.
