Role Summary
We are seeking a Conversational AI Developer & Tester who is passionate about creating intelligent, natural, and human-like voice and chat experiences.
You will design, develop, and test conversational flows for voice-first and chat-based customer interactions , leveraging modern Conversational AI platforms such as Dialogflow CX, Rasa, Cognigy AI, Amazon Lex, Kore.ai, or IBM watsonx Assistant .
Candidates with prior exposure to VXML-based IVR systems and real customer projects will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test end-to-end conversational experiences for voice and chat channels across multiple AI platforms.
- Translate product and user requirements into intuitive dialogue designs and interaction flows .
- Collaborate closely with product managers, conversation designers, and customer teams to refine user journeys and ensure smooth voice UX.
- Leverage NLP and ML concepts to improve intent accuracy, entity extraction, and contextual conversation management.
- Integrate conversational bots with APIs, backend systems, and telephony platforms (e.g., Genesys, Twilio, Amazon Connect).
- Conduct functional and user testing, analyze conversation logs, and iterate designs for continuous improvement .
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and version-controlled flow artifacts .
- Stay updated on emerging trends in Conversational AI, LLMs, and Generative AI integrations .
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience developing or maintaining bots on at least one major platform(e.g., Dialogflow CX, Rasa, Cognigy, Amazon Lex, Kore.ai, IBM watsonx Assistant).
Strong grasp of Natural Language Processing (NLP) fundamentals and intent-entity modeling .Experience in voice-based bot development or IVR modernization projects.Ability to translate conversation design wireframes or scripts into executable bot flows.Proficiency in integrating bots with APIs, webhooks, or backend data sources .Familiarity with VXML , telephony integration , or contact center systems (advantage).Strong debugging, testing, and conversation tuning skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in customer-facing contexts.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Exposure to Generative AI / LLM-based assistants (e.g., OpenAI, Vertex AI Agent Builder, LangChain).Understanding of analytics, conversation metrics, and A / B testing for performance tuning.Familiarity with JSON, RESTful APIs, and Python or Node.js scripting for automation.Prior experience in voice UX testing and tuning ASR / TTS parameters.What We Offer
