We’re growing rapidly across online and marketplace platforms — and we’re looking for a D2C Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and maintain smooth coordination across all online sales channels.

Role Overview

The D2C Accountant will handle accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting for HairJoy’s website and marketplace platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail, a clear understanding of e-commerce settlements, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records for all D2C sales (Website, Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, etc.)
  • Reconcile payment settlements with marketplaces and payment gateways
  • Track COD, prepaid, and refund transactions to ensure accurate reporting
  • Handle vendor invoices, purchase entries, and expense tracking
  • Prepare monthly P&L reports and assist with financial statements
  • Work with courier partners for COD remittance and reconciliation
  • Support management in preparing budgets, forecasts, and expense analyses
  • Coordinate with the operations and marketplace teams for order and return tracking
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting (experience in D2C or e-commerce preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Tally, and reconciliation processes
  • Understanding of GST filings, TDS, and marketplace settlements
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership in work
