Job descriptionShould have Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with relevant 3 years of experience in Thermal and mechanical design of Heat exchanger. Should have minimum 3 years’ experience in technical responsible roles in Heat transfer Engineering / surveillance / inspection activities in the Oil and Gas Industry. Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in technical responsible roles in Heat transfer. Proven experience in the design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of various heat exchanger types, including, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers AND Plate-Type Heat Exchangers. Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes such as TEMA, API 660 / 661, ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2. Proficiency in engineering software tools including HTRI, ASPEN EDR, Pro-II, HYSYS, and PV-Elite. What you will do
- Perform thermal-hydraulic design calculations and analysis for new and existing heat exchangers.
- Review and design of mechanical aspects of heat exchangers to ensure compliance with standards and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot performance and leakage issues in heat exchangers and recommend effective solutions.
- Monitor heat exchanger performance, identify issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Review and evaluate vendor design packages for compliance and quality.
- Design reboilers and condensers for various process applications.
- Apply working knowledge of mechanical design principles for pressure vessels.
- 10% travel expected to site or Vendor fabrication Shops.
