Job descriptionIdentify and target potential clients within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries for corporate insurance solutions. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned business targets. Conduct detailed risk assessments and coordinate with internal teams to propose suitable insurance programs. Manage the end-to-end client engagement cycle – from lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, to policy placement. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and risk exposures specific to the Pharma and Chemical sectors. Collaborate with the Claims and Servicing teams to ensure timely support and client satisfaction. Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums to enhance market visibility. Strong understanding of risk exposures and insurance requirements within the Pharma and Chemical industries. Proven sales and business development experience in corporate or commercial insurance. Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to design and present customized insurance solutions. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple client portfolios.

Qualification & Experience :
- Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in corporate insurance sales, preferably with exposure to Pharma and Chemical clients.
- Exposure to Property, Liability, Marine, and Employee Benefit insurance products will be an added advantage.
Role Summary :
The role involves driving business growth in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical sectors by identifying, acquiring, and managing corporate insurance clients. The incumbent will be responsible for developing sector-specific strategies, deepening client relationships, and ensuring comprehensive risk and insurance solutions are provided in line with industry standards.
