Unreal Environment Artist

We are looking for a highly skilled Unreal Environment Artist with hands-on experience in World Creator and SpeedTree to help us build immersive, photorealistic worlds for Movies. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for realism, deep technical knowledge of Unreal Engine, and a passion for crafting cinematic experiences that hold up across lighting, weather, scale, and distance.

What You’ll Work On

You will be responsible for creating highly realistic real-time environments, including landscapes, vegetation, atmospheric elements, and lighting setups that serve as the visual foundation for a simulation requiring accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build photorealistic environments in Unreal Engine 5 using World Creator for terrain generation and SpeedTree for vegetation workflows.
• Create realistic foliage ecosystems—trees, plants, grass, and ground cover—that behave properly under environmental simulation variables (wind, weather, time-of-day, distance LOD transitions).
• Develop cinematic-quality lighting setups suitable for real-time rendering (Lumen, HDRI, fog, volumetrics, GI).
• Set up advanced shader networks for terrain, foliage, water, atmospheric effects, and surface detail.
• Ensure all environments maintain realism across different lighting conditions, camera angles, and simulation scenarios.
• Troubleshoot environment issues related to shading, lighting, and simulation accuracy.
• Maintain consistent art direction and visual style across all deliverables.
