Job Profile Summary
This role is a strategic leadership role responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all human resources functions across the Indian business units. This position aims to create a cohesive and productive workplace environment by aligning HR strategies with corporate objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring operational excellence in recruitment, workforce planning, HR operations, and employee engagement initiatives. As a key member of the HR and India leadership team, the Head of HR will drive the development of policies and practices that attract, retain, and develop talent while addressing the evolving needs of the organization and its workforce. This position reports to the Global Head of Human Resources.
All job functions are performed in close partnership with the Global HR CoE Leaders (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Operations Training, Compliance, and HR Operations). Essential Job Functions :
Strategic Leadership : Work with key stakeholders to develop HR strategic plans that align with the organization's vision, mission, and strategic goals, and ensure tactical plans are developed and executed properly.Talent Management : Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies that position the organization as an employer of choice, to include increase female representation across all levels of the organization.Performance Management : Provide input and oversee the performance management systems to promote accountability, growth, transparency, and employee development while reinforcing a feedback rich culture.Compensation and Benefits : Analyze and refine compensation structures and benefits offerings to maintain competitiveness within the industry and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Employee Relations : Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, facilitating communication and addressing workplace conflicts to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.Training and Development : Drive business training and employee / leadership development initiatives that empower employees to grow their skills, ensuring leadership development are prioritized.Organizational Development : Drive organizational effectiveness by implementing strategies for employee engagement, workforce planning, and change management in alignment with business objectives.HR Compliance : Ensure the organization adheres to national and local laws and regulations, and maintain employee records in compliance with global standards.Data and Analytics : Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of HR programs, and make informed decisions that enhance organizational performance.HR Operations : Ensure all Workday and back office functions (ex. Payroll) work properly and follow global and local policies and procedures. Operational excellence and maintaining data and process integrity are critical to this role.Cross Functional Collaboration : Partner with senior leaders across departments to develop workforce strategies and facilitate organizational change initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of HR practices.Other activities as may be assignedQualifications / Requirements :Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant HR certifications (, SHRMSCP, SPHR) preferred.Minimum of + years of industry and / or relevant experienceAt least + years of progressive HR experience with a demonstrated track record of success in leadership roles, preferably in a corporate environment.Experience working in a multi organization matrix management environmentIn depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor legislation, and compliance regulations.Proven experience in designing talent management and development programs, as well as compensation and benefits strategies that enhance employee engagement.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a strong ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating data driven decision making and strategic insight.Proficiency in HR technologies, HRIS systems, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Workday strongly preferred.Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to effectively manage sensitive situations and complex employee interactions.Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities while remaining adaptable to changing business needs.
